Audience Presents

We hand over the Eastleigh Film Festival selections to YOU for the night!

Audience Presents

We chose four of our all-time favourite movies featuring iconic cars in tribute to this year's drive-in theme but only one could take the ultimate prize of being our opening night flick.

Our Audience Presents choices were: Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986), Dazed and Confused (1993), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and Baby Driver (2017).

Life moves pretty fast and your votes put Ferris Bueller's Day Off in pole position to open this year's Eastleigh Film Festival at Itchen Valley Country Park.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)

Three teenagers wearing sunglasses drive a bright red Ferrari 250 through a multi-storey car park

With his best friend Cameron and girlfriend Sloane along for the ride, teen slacker Ferris Bueller decides to bunk off school and head to Chicago for a day trip in the beautiful Ferrari 250 GT California belonging to Cameron's father in one of John Hughes' most recognisable teen comedies.
