Quality and quirky movie experiences on offer at Eastleigh Film Festival 2021

Eastleigh Film Festival is back for 2021, bringing a full week’s schedule of screenings to unique and unusual locations across the Borough.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday 13th August for the festival line-up from Monday 13th – Saturday 18th September.

Following last year’s drive-in cinema at Itchen Valley Country Park, the festival heads into the dark, dark woods again for immersive scary screenings of A Quiet Place 2 and The Descent. Bring your own blanket, chair and torch – and a hand to hold to get you through!

New locations for this year include Barton Peveril College and Crestwood School, which will be showing American high school cult classic, The Breakfast Club and Bo Burnham’s brilliant Eighth Grade respectively. Get ready for a 1980’s white wedding celebration and buffet with The Wedding Singer at the Concorde Club!

Experience 2021 Academy Award-winners Nomadland and Sound of Metal the way they were meant to be seen on the big screen at The Point, which will also host the festival’s opening night, featuring a once-in-a-lifetime concert event with Mick Fleetwood and Friends recorded live at the London Palladium in 2020.
