Opening Night Gala

BBC One's chief critic Danny Leigh hosted an exciting opening night with his top ten films from cinema's best loved genres for the Festival.  After a public vote the three top films were: The Shining, Les Diaboliques & The Fly.

Audiences enjoyed cult film by the Coen Brother's at Eastleigh's Hollywood Lanes after a game with White Russians also being served.
